Hello,
Today is day two of my ten day juice fast and I have a few questions for some of the "seasoned" fasters.
What is the appropriate amount of juice to drink in a day? I have read some places that 64oz of Green Lemonade should be sipped throughout the day, but that seems too low. I have also seen some people drink up to 6 liters in a day. I realize everyone is different, but there must be a general guideline? I have been drinking about 4 liters per day. As a habit, I don't eat after 6:30pm at night, and though I am full when I push away from the table the last two nights, I am hungry at 8:30pm. I have opted for water and not juice, but I'm wondering if juice would be OK, or should I push through it and fight the urge?
As for detox, I'm told to expect some headaches and bad breath (oh, this had better be worth it ;-)
And then for the weight loss. I've seen many comments that show 10lbs. in 10 days, 25lbs. in 30 days, so roughly a pound a day. What are some of your results?
Any comments/insights are welcome!
