Do my fellow rebounders see the same results from this form of cardio as you do from more "traditional" forms like running, step aerobics, etc? For some reason, it's near impossible for me to break a sweat on the darn thing--even wearing ankle weights. When I run, I sweat so I don't understand....? I've heard so many wonderful things about rebounding like lymphatic movement, cellular strengthening, less joint impact, etc, but does it really burn fat like other types of cardio? What are your experiences?

I do both and get as winded on the rebounder as I do running. I follow a tape usually a step aerobic one and modify the moves. You can do knee tucks, straddle jumps, varied jacks and such. Do a series of high knee tucks, that will get your sweat going ! Take off the weights, they will hinder your moves.

I worked out on a mini tramp for cardio for some weeks about 3 years ago. I have a little urinary incontinence since having kids, but that is mostly candida related. But certain jumping moves make me leak, which is really annoying, so I've sort of avoided it. But I like step aerobics, it seems that I work harder with it.
