Mozzarella Cheese Stick Recipes?

I've been looking all over for a recipe that can satisfy a craving for those breaded, deep fried, unhealthy mozzarella cheese sticks you find in American restaurant appetizers. Does anybody have any ideas?

Somewhere I've seen a recipe for raw jalapeno poppers. Been meaning to try it someday!

EDIT: Found it, hahahhaa! Not the same as mozarella sticks, but at least it's in the same appetizer family.....

thanks querty! I've been meaning to try experimenting with poppers this summer. I have 4-5 jalapeno plants going and ready for the garden, as soon as it warms up!
