Ok, so this is my first party that I am having at my house since being raw(5 weeks). I made some recipes from Alyssa's LoLF to share with all my friends and family who are SAD. I made the Date Nut Torte, Cesar Dressing(I am addicted), Spinach Dip, and Guacamole. I cut up lots of fruit and veggies. Oh and I made a batch of raw brownies. I am so excited to share.
Any other suggestions for SAD pleasing recipes? Maybe for next time. :)
I will let you know how it went :))

raw apple pie is typically devoured with the same energy as a pack of wild coyotes that just found a deer that recently passed. ;-) generally you hear comments like......this has no sugar?............it wasn't baked?, really?.......
I like ani phyno's apple pie recipe.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try them out. The dressing was a huge hit as was the guacamole. The spinach dip was good too but felt like it was missing something. Maybe garlic or something spicy. The huge fruit bowl I made was a hit with the kids. They devoured it before the SAD cookies. Yay kids!!!

Oh yea...Revell hit it right on the head!!! Her Chilli is just 'da BOMB!!!!! It looks like it would take a year to make, but it's actually pretty simple, just have all of the ingredients available and put it together. Also, the Crepes are FANTASTIC!!!! For a simplier dish, make the Zucchini Pasta w/Marinara Sauce! I put Carrot ribbons and Mushrooms on top of mine for a pretty presentation.

I would say keep it simple - how about some kind of raw cookie or brownie but rolled into a ball so it's like a truffle?
