I have a cracked tooth - extremely painful - and can't really chew anything. But am craving celery like you wouldn't believe. Bought some and tried to nibble very carefully on the other side - but it's a no go. Nothing to chew anymore: I get into an ok rhythm and then zowwy! and it is not good, the pain lasts for a long time....
Any blended celery recipes you can share? to my mind - if I'm craving it, I must be needing it! Dentist said after cracking it'll get infected, and I think it's infected now. Seeing the endodontist tomorrow - so hopefully an end to this soon. But in the meantime - sooo hungry.

I love it in juice. A head of celery, a lemon, apple, ginger......delish.

I love it in green smoothies, too. I just had this one: 2 bananas, an orange, 1 stalk celery, 3 cups spinach, cacao, agave..... yum!
For salad dressing, blend up:
1 roma tomato
1 stalk celery
1 orange, peeled
1 clove garlic
salt to taste
evoo to taste
I also love celery in warmed-up raw soups -- blend together one stalk celery with a few tomatoes, a cuke, some greens, 1/2 avocado, garlic, and whatever seasonings you like (I add salt, cumin, curry, nutritional yeast, jalapeno or cayenne pepper). You can probably also create a cream of celery soup! Or what about a savory smoothie with lots of celery, tomatoes, cuke, jalapeno...... hmmmm.....
By the way -- have you tried oil-pulling with coconut oil? It's pretty great for treating tooth pain and also has antiseptic and healing properties. I've been seeing amazing results! Very good for infections.

Hey snoops! Thanks! Ended up getting the dreaded root canal, but at least that's done.
had 2 smoothies with celery last night - and the pain noticeably decreased. So - craving was spot on.
how's life in snoopville?

going good - moved to Texas. Needed AC on bit already today. Oh please give us some more spring before summer sets in!! Raw food eaten - still same ol' same ol'!! Smoothin and juicin lots but still eating crap too. One of these days........:) Hope all is good in your world now that your teeth are fixed. I did start oil pulling and have found good things with that. In regards to tooth sensitivity and occasional pain. I have 3 root canals and do NOT want another.
