Ok...I'm back. Never should have left. Looked SOOOO good when I was eating raw, then I went back to the SAD, and now I look ugh...

Gained the weight back. Feel lazy, not pretty.

Starting tomorrow...I'm back on raw. Planning moving to Denver in April..want to have lost some weight by then. I think I need a rapid detox, so tomorrow.....it's 100% raw, tons of exercise, and lots of water.

My downfall is that I write screenplays, and I don't like to write at home alone (pretty boring) so I go to coffee shops. But then I drink coffee.and I hate the taste of coffee, so I ad stuff to it. I usually like teas, but I hate the teas they serve at the coffee shops. First, they scald you with water so hot that it stays hot for 30 minutes, then when you finally drink it, the tea tastes burned.

So, my biggest challenge is finding a social place to write that is not a coffee shop.

But really, I need to stop making excuses. I'm so tired of looking this way. I'm not huge, but I am getting quite plump.

I drink herbal teas, peppermint, nettle, spiced, fennel. Would they be good alternatives for you?

Welcome back!

You don't have a raw food bistro or vegetarian place near by?

Does it have to be in a coffee shop?

If this is the option that you have, most coffee shop offer other alternative. You can bring your own drink and buy a bottle of water from this place. or do herbal tea. This is what i do when i am stuck to go in a coffee shop.

I hope you find the perfect plan for you

Yayyyyy -- a fellow screenwriter!!!

Have you tried working in a library? It's a public space, but not so beverage-oriented.

Anyhow welcome back -- I take your return as an omen to re-commit to my own weight loss, hahaha!! :heart

I'd be real careful about the coffee shops...the water they use for the drinks is almost definitely going to be toxic tap water.

Another screnwriter!! Yes! Happy to meet you! :)

Well, I am happy to announce that today I was all raw, except one coffee drink, but I used soy milk. I know, still not raw, but better than the last 6
months. I've decided that from now on, I am just going to write by the outdoor pool. It's beautiful here now, and I don't need to spend the money on coffee drinks. So, as of tomorrow, I'll be 100% raw.

The thing I love about being raw, even for one day, is that all my cravings go completely away. (Except caffeine, but I'm just going to have to give it up cold turkey tomorrow.)

Thanks for the encouragement, everyone!!

@natural-girl it's encouraging to know that most cravings go away in a short period of time. I MUST GET OFF SUGAR.

Just bring your own teabags, and add them after the water cools a bit.
