Here recently, my juicer broke. As a result, I've been eating sliced veggies for the past few days. Last night, I got home and just wasn't hungry. I picked at some nuts and seeds but that was it. Now, at lunch time, I just don't want to eat anything. I feel like I'm still stuffed from what I ate at breakfast: half a roma tomato, 2 pieces of celery, 1 carrot, small bunch of grapes, 1/4 of cucumber and a handful of snack mix (flax leather, beat flakes and pumpkin sees).

I donno. I have a big, stocky, 6 foot tall body that normally NEEDS to be fed. Is this normal?

I believe its because the body is getting the nutrients it needs in the foods we eat.

The more FRESH foods you eat that are high in sunlight with high levels of amino acids, the less hungry you will feel in time. That is the key.

Heck no. I am a constant grazer and always munching.

I have been doing lots of exercise so that may have something to do with it.
Lifting weights really seems to make me hungry.

Absolutely agree. Sometimes I have to "force" myself to eat. I love it because my body is telling me I am doing the right thing. Good fuel = good energy.

I've just been kind of bored with foods the last several days. Even though I have lots of energy, it feels like I don't have enough energy to juice or make a full on salad. For me, it comes in stages. I have a lot of stress going on at the moment so I think maybe my body is just trying to conserve what it has. Just eat when you are hungry. Your body will let you know. :)

it's not so much appetite reduced as rationalised and less out of control!

Over the weekend, I had a "slip up." When I started eating raw again, I just couldn't get enough food. Now that I've been raw for a couple of days, I'm back to not wanting food as often.

I think MysticTree is right. There is a difference between being hungry and just wanting to eat. I think the SAD food results in a cycle unfulfillment that makes you want to eat and, hence, you lose control. You are always hungry because you never get what you need. It apparently takes my body a day or two before it knows it's being satisfied.

Anyway, it sounds like this is not uncommon. I do not exercise currently. I can certainly see how that would impact hunger.
