Greetings,

This is my first post.

I'm a 46 year old man who has been juicing for about 12 years. At one point, I considered myself quite serious and devoted to eating as little sugar/cooked/processed/meat etc. as I could.

During this time I felt wonderful and full of life and energy. I truly believe that juicing and raw food ideals saved my life and is the only true way to prosper in health.

For whatever reason, I slowly slipped back into the unhealthy lifestyle of eating bad foods and drinking sugary, fake drinks - thinking that I can balance it out with occasional juicing and supplementing with Omega 3s, Vitamin D3, etc.

I have reached a point where I want to become serious again - and I'm looking for forums such as this for inspiration. I've only been here for an hour, and I'm already thrilled at the abundant resources within.

Thank you, and I look forward to reading and submitting when possible and practicable.

Hi James....I think you have made a good choice. Let how you feel be your guide on what to eat. I know my body tells me when I've eaten something I shouldn't. We are all human and the goal is to understand that we sometimes stray. Just chalk it up and get back on track is how I treat myself. I often just lurk here but I always find inspiration.

Thanks guys!

It's really amazing to feel in tune with what my body tells me about the food I'm eating. The best news is how fast it responds to good, healthy food and juicing. I swear I can feel the difference in my skin within minutes of drinking a nice glass of raw juice.

I know I have liver issues, so I'm already thinking of trying Alissa's liver cleanse program.

Take care!
