So I am getting ready to go on a juice fast. Just ten days. I have heard people say that it helps clear their mind and makes them feel really good at the end. Has anyone ever experienced this? What have you experienced as a result of a juice fast?

Yes! You feel lighter, "fresher", cleaner and clearer . . . in my experience! Enjoy. :-)

Looking forward to that.
I'm sick to death of living in a haze, not being able to retain anything, chronic insomnia and living with an emotional personality disorder.
I don't expect eating raw to fix everything but if it helped balance me out a bit, at least made my mind clear all the time and maybe regulated my sleep I'd be incredibly happy.
Currently on my third night of no sleep despite my insufferable fatigue.

Without question and quickly! Good luck!!!
I'll let you know ~ I'm day 3 of a fruit fast right now and I'm feeling wonderful. Much better than when I was eating all fruit during the day with a raw veggie dinner at night even.

I have never done the juice fast - and don't know why I would - but when I went raw I only felt GREAT!

I would say yes, but it's not just eating or drinking that contributes to your overall well-being. The other factors have to include getting good oil inside you (Omega 3s), being properly hydrated either with an abundance of fresh juice or quality water, and most importantly at least 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep. This will rejuvenate your adrenals. Anything less will continue to drain your energy.
The last thing I have to add for a suggestion is that your mind has to be in a good place. If something is gnawing at your conscience or you feel there's something that is undone that you can change, you must take care of that! A conscience that is uneasy will lead to a body of unease.
Good Luck!

I would like to caution you that if you're doing a raw juice fast, to please not do many fruit juices. I believe that for some eating whole fruit would not contribute to candida or brain fog etc, but that juicing a lot of fruits with your veggies, definitely will be adding too much sugar.
I've done a handful of raw juice fasts and ALWAYS included fruits in the juice. I did help many things, but never helped with my rosacea, which would flare up on and off even during a fast. This was just adding sugary fuel to the fire of my candida, and I believe rosacea to be candida induced. So for my upcoming juice and smoothie fast, I plan on beginning with very low fruit, but ending the fast with nothing sweet and I wish I would not have included the fruits in my juices in the past. I just think this was too much sugar, without the benefit of fiber and would not do it again.
I also agree with the previous poster about incorporating good EFA's. However it is my belief that in the early part of a fast - atleast 5 - 7 days - to go with no fat. But that after that, you SHOULD incorporate EFA's.....
Just my thoughts!
