If people from the forum were to visit your house & open up your cupboards and go through your fridge once a week.. What are the foods & supplements that we would always find that you have on hand? :)
I don't really do/know a lot of fancy recipes... I also don't have a dehydrator.. So.. I mainly just have things very simple. I eat A LOT of salads.. Nothing fancy, just a variety of lettuces, some spinach & kale, sometimes I'll have some dandelion greens, etc.. Pretty typical... I also eat fruit as it is.. I eat green smoothies and also make juices.. Will also combine juice into my green smoothies... I don't like eating fruit and salad together, unless it's in a green smoothie or a juice... I don't like fruit-based salad dressings, either.. I like savory salads. lol Generally put nuts with my salads, though. (currently on a juice fast, but just a topic that popped in my head!)
What I've noticed I am always eating a lot of & thus seem to always keep on hand:
Lettuces
Spinach
Dark leafy greens
Carrots
Onion
Pineapple
Berries (prefer blueberries, but usually have an assortment.. Blueberry, Raspberry, Strawberry)
Kiwi
Oranges
Bananas
Pears (love it when I can get those huge Korean ones... But I like all pears)
Tomatoes
Jalapenos
Grapefruits
Clementines (also sometimes called "cuties")
Lemons
Limes
Almonds
Sunflower Seeds
Avocados
Radishes
Celery
Cauliflower
Broccoli
Cucumber
Zucchini/Courgettes
Green Apples
Ginger
Garlic
Green Onions
Mangoes
Olive Oil
Grape Seed Oil
Coconut Oil
Raw Honey
Of course I have a bunch of dried spices.. Curry powder, garlic powder, black pepper, Cinnamon, etc.. Typical stuff. xD And Stevia!
Supplements:
MSM
Alive Women's multivitamin
Hibiscus Tea (republic of teas.. like the blueberry & pineapple lychee the best)
Iron (have to take it, because my liver is messed up)
Horsetail extract
Artichoke extract
Vitamin E
Biotin
Also use MSM soap & MSM lotion.
Other Stuff:
Tom's toothpaste
Peroxide Mouthwash
Other foods that I get sometimes, but not on a regular basis...
Asparagus
Pistachios
Pecans
Figs
Dates
Pomegranates
Fresh herbs (basil/mint/etc)
Beets
Cabbage
Butternut Squash
Melons
Coconuts
That's all I can think of @ the moment... lol
So.. What do your cupboards and refrigerators look like? :D What kinda goodies do you have in there? :D
And.. Do you have any recommendations for myself or others? :)
Okie dokie.. :) Have fun! :)

MysticTree- I like how you said that! :) Reminds me of a quote "the happiest people do not have the best of everything, but they make the best of everything they have!" :D I like that! :)
michigan roman - there's a lot of seed exchange sites.. Collecting seeds is a hobby of mine. :) there's places where you can exchange seeds and trade live plants or cuttings with fellow gardeners! :) even wild seeds- like stinging nettles.. i've even gotten things like wild leeks & jerusalem artichokes, too! they have places where you can exchange things that will grow in your local area.. as well as general seed & plant trading for all zones.. you can trade only heirloom, non-GMO seeds with people & pretty much get anything from the Seed Saver's, Baker Creek, etc catalogs.. I've even traded seeds with people outside of the country.. New Zealand, Australia, Spain, France, Italy, etc.. I LOVE SEED TRADING! lol I'll have to make a post about it somewhere. :)

that is an awesome dream & goal! you should do it! :) there's a lot of kinds of spinach & greens, too!
yes, seed trading is so fun! lol i have so many seeds, i have problems finding a place to store them all... i mean.. i freeze my seeds, so they keep longer, but the box i keep them in takes up a lot of space in the deep freezer... only cost involved in seed trading is stamps, pens & some bubble padding to get started with.. but.. once you get started, you never have to buy envelopes, because you can reuse envelopes.. if they fall apart, just tape them together or use them for padding! i have mailed seeds to france that way! the girl said my seeds were VERY well packed :D she lives at Mas Du Diable (http://masdudiable.com/)... which that place looks SO awesome!!!!
i collect heirlooms of anything.. as long as it's edible or medicinal... i have a slew of medicinal herbs & plants.. i've also got tons of fruit & vegetables.. stuff offered from places like kitazawa seeds, baker creek, etc. also have lots of stuff from overseas... even have stuff i don't eat, "just in case".. xD not much stuff that i don't have.. pretty much the only seeds i don't bother with are like... GMO & marijuana. lol i would totally trade marijuana seeds if it was legal in my state, though.. just one more thing to have! lol i love getting the mail, because it's like getting presents everyday.. it really helps offset the depression one falls into from seeing bills in their mail. LOL :) my favorite things about getting mail are seeing coupons and seeds! HEHEHE!
okay... i'll shush about it.. but.. it is fun. definitely. :)
