Hi All,
I am just starting back on a raw path after a lapse of about 6 years, previously I was about 90% raw with big slip pizza sized ups). I have still dabble with juices a bit in that time, but still found myself stuck in a food trap, comfort eating and craving comfort junk (cheese, pizza, chocolate mainly).
In my previous attempts at raw I lived in the US, but I am now back in my homeland of England.
I didn't intend to go back to raw, I was happy just being a veggie, but I had a miscarriage and in the days after I found myself CRAVING raw food, salad, green juices so I have decided to try to listen to my body, and go with it.
I need to lose alot of weight, I am currently 196lb, so I am hoping this will come with it.
Over the last few weeks I have been eating more and more, and for the last 4 days I have dedicated myself to the following a simple Smoothie in the morning, followed by fruit and a raw pre-bought bar, salad with hummus for lunch, more fruit in the afternoon, then a cooked vegetarian meal with green juice. If hungry in the day then some sprouted bread with peanut butter.
So far I seem to have gained a few lbs?
So thats me. I live in the UK with hubby and our beautiful 18 month boy, whom we are raising as a vegetarian.
Also, I used to post on this board, but along time ago.
