Hello,

I am a 40 year old Surfer from Los Angeles. I already live a pretty healthy lifestyle. I am an avid Surfer and avid Yogi (Bikram Yoga). I do most of my own cooking and tend to keep healthy & organic. I do have a cheat day every now and then and love Ice Cream probably a little more than I should.

I just got done watching Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead the documentary and I asked myself why I have not taken the leap into increasing my micronutrient intake. I have begun research on juicers and I am finding a lot of juicers that separate the skin from the vegetable. It is my understanding that a majority of the nutrients, fiber and vitamins are in the skins of various fruits and vegetables.

I currently have the Blendtec Blender which I use for fruit smoothies every morning. I have 3 bananas, a full cup of blueberries, a full cup of raw wheat germ, a full cup of raw oatmeal, protein powder, almond milk & organic peanut butter every morning for Bfast. The Blendtech does not bust down vegetables as I would like to drink as a juice.

I have been looking at the Breville blender and others.

What Juicers would you recommend for a 1st time juicer, that busts down the skins, easy to clean and under $150.

I thank you for taking the time to read my introduction and what I am looking for.

You can get the Breville for around that. GO to bed bath and beyond with the 20% off coupon to save you some dough. I have the Breville juice fountain and I love it. But I am going to upgrade to a mascicating juicer Omega Vert. THey are around $300-$350 range. Under the juicing section there are many discussions about juicers. I have the vitamix and it blends the veggies up pretty good I thought the blend tech did the same. O well. Enjoy your juice.

Look at L'equip juicers. Very well built. Around one hundred thirty dollars.
