I own a the Breville 800 and 510. The only reason that I got the 800 is because I juice about 100 oz of juice a day so I needed one that could handle that sort of volume. But if you use it only a 4 or 5 times a week, the 510 is what I would recommend. It can handle anything except its not the best with leafy greens or bananas (as are all centrifical juicers.) But I would highly recommend either of them. I got my 800 on craigslist for $125

why buy a centrifugal when it makes sub-par juice? why not get yourself a masticating juicer like a champion instead? you'll use less produce and get more juice while stays fresh longer. win-win situation in my world.

Proud, new owner of the Breville 800! My search was long, ending up deciding between the Omega VRT350 and the Breville 800. In the end, I chose the Breville for the following reasons:
- Reduce prep time (even though the VRT350 produced higher yield with dark greens)
- Faster juicing
- No clogging issues
- Versatility on what can be juiced.
Just ordered a Breville 300 from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Talked with the store manager who took my 20% coupon AND did not charge me for shipping to my house. :) Paid only $261. Happy! :)

Lots of folks like the breville. Having a juicer that you will Use is important. Glad you got a good deal!!
Here is my experience ...I have a breville and a green star ... have owned a champion and a Hurom (like Omega vrt)
I dislike the VRT totally. Juice very pulpy and it just doesn't work well.
The champion works very well, so I gave it to my daughter-in-law for juicing because I couldn't justify keeping 3 juicers in the house while my daughter in law really wanted to eat healthier.
I absolutely Love the green star and use it exclusively. Its an investment but I expect it will last for a very long time. (I bought it 8 years ago and it is still going strong).
the Breville ... well, it's fast but the pulp is so wet that I can run it (the pulp) though the greenstar and get tons more juice.
It is noisy, the juice doesn't taste very good in comparison to the green star, and the juice doesn't store for very long.
I keep the breville because my husband likes it, is happy with it, and actually sometimes uses it. So I figure, if it encourages him to drink juice, then that's a good thing. So, we have 'his' and 'hers' juicers. lol
