My stomach gets so sick that I cannot eat. It feels like the flu. I had a cooked food binge & have commited to going back raw, & this is my second day. I have been going off & on the past two weeks. It seems like every time I go off & come back on the symptoms are worse. This time I feel sick to my stomach, & my back hurts bad. I knew that I shouldn't have binged on cooked food, but I did. Does anyone have any reccomendations on how to ease these symptoms.

Stop eating; drink water; do enemas for the backache.

Rest and raw juices. Fresh pressed raw carrot juice works wonders.

I was noticing that veggie juices were making me sick. I finally tried a smoothie w/ some ground up flax seeds & later on I had a salad. The salad made me feel better. I think I might try the enema because I have had only one BM in the past few days. I am nervous about the enema. I always told myself I would not have to do one. :D Wish me luck! :eek:

making fresh ginger or peppermint tea can do wonders in easing your stomach. to make the ginger tea, use 3 quarter-sized slices of ginger per 1 cup of water. Put it all in a pot cold, bring it to a boil, and let it simmer for at least 15 minutes. Should be strong and spicy! If it is too much, cool it with some almond milk and raw honey. (I know i'm giving "cooked" advice, but tea is not the worst you could do!!) and of course store bought peppermint is wonderful as well if you arent up to making the fresh ginger. but from experience it will slow and stop vomiting, and ease a bad tummy ache! really just good for it all. good luck! feel better.
