Freezing Sea Weeds?

I have a friend that would like to know if it's okay to freeze sea weed. She said she has several packs of dried sea weeds -and- kelp noodles that are about to reach their expiration date and was wondering how to hang on to them longer.

I told her I was sure freezing the dried s.w. would be fine. I've had Irish Moss in my freezer for probably a couple years and it's fine. But any input is appreciated!

I don't know about the kelp noodles though as I've never used them. Thanks in advance!

They have all types of seaweed frozen at a big Asian market that I go to, so I'm assuming it's fine. I've done it. Why not?
Many come dried and you have to hydrate, so this would be similar....
