Hi All...

Question from someone who is relatively new.

I was surprised by how much solid ends up left over and essentially thrown out. Does this sacrifice a large amount of the produce's vitamins and minerals?

You can run the pulp through your juicer more than once. I'm not that knowledgable about juicing but I'm sure others here will want to know what kind of juicer you are using. There is a huge difference in the types of juicers and how much juice (nutrition) is extracted from the same amount of produce. Centrifugal "wastes" much more than a masticating juicer. I'm not sure how much of a difference there is between a masticating or twin gear masticating though.

Many people also save the pulp to make crackers or to make crusts and such for other recipes.

I do not like eating most vegetables so juicing is way better then not eating them. I feed the pulp
to my worms then worm poooop goes in the garden. NO WASTE
