Hey,
Really nice to see such a active and detailed forum - just read an article on here about Protein, wow, some reeeeally good information i didnt know right there.
My names Joanna, ive been veggie for 5 years and vegan for about 2/2.5 years. About 6 weeks ago i started eating raw only (about 85%+) and combining with regular exercise and running.
Lost some weight, skin feels smoother and over all just feel a lot more healthy in ways i cant pinpoint exactly.
Anyway - im wanting to make my body as healthy as i can, heres a run through of my daily food intake.
Breakfast - Branflakes with Soya milk (Yes, not raw at all, thats where i "cheat".)
Lunch - roughly 100-150g of mixed fruit and nuts. (currents, cranberries, almonds, cashews, macadamia, hazelnuts, peanuts, pistachios, pinenuts)
1 piece of fruit. (Banana, orange or pear usually)
Tea - Mixed salad (Red onion, carrot, tomatoes, pepper, cucumber, courgette, lettuce, cabbage) The dressing is usually a mix of sun dried tomatoes, olives, gherkins, seeds, raisins, garlic, lemon juice, a mix of herbs/spices to taste, black pepper and sometimes chillies.
Snacks - 2 piece of fruit (usually banana, pear, apple, orange etc)
A few dates and dried apricots.
Drinks - Redbush tea, water.
(I live in England and only work part time, i cant afford the prices of some of the fruits and such so i try to keep to the cheaper ones.)
Let me know from your own knowledge and experience if that sounds pretty decent to you please and if theres anywhere that i could easily change and improve.
Massively appreciate any feedback :)
Thanks a lot fellow Raw people!
Joanna
