I'm trying to come off coffee. I want to try to drink lemon water with maybe a bit of stevia in it. Think it's ok to do a green tea bag in it as well? Supposed to be good for you...? Green tea I mean. And I'd still get a bit of a boost from the tea. :)
Thoughts?
Thanks!
Matthew

Yea I been around lurking but not participating in the lifestyle. But I'm recently married with a supportive husband so I'm doing green smoothies again and eating several vegan / rawish meals a day.

As to the green tea - go for it. Better than coffee I would say - I drink it and would even if I considered myself all raw!! There are no rules you know...

Although green tea is full of catechins (antioxidants), it's also high in caffeine so you're better off having rooibos tea which is also high in catechins but is caffeine free. If you add lemon juice to that, the vitamin C makes the catechins more easily absorbed... so you get more out of the tea that way.
