Now I'm hoping this is a decent one. Amazon has it for $229, and I got it for $133. I've never heard of this brand. Please,
someone give me some good news!!!

thing is they arent too complicated a device , its worth the money just for the stainless box and the trays . and if something ever breaks the heating element or fan could no doubt be replaced for cheap with a higher quality part if wanted to . this mtn compant seems to be new and they might be buying from manufacturers at bulk cheap then marketing the products under their label is how im taking them from seeing other of their products on line that ;look to be exactly like other manufacturers products . so your dehy might be made by best company out there and sold cheaper under the mtn label

I think this is the brand I have. I've had since October. I don't think the timer works. I haven't called the company yet because I wanted to make sure it wasn't user error. After rereading the directions, I'm pretty sure the timer doesn't work. I will call and see what happens. Other than that, no complaints.

If i would get a new dehydrator, i would look for something similar that you bought. I don't like plastic. So i think you had a great deal.

I got mine on ebay as well (Yes, I confirmed it's the same brand). The seller is ordering a new timer part from the mf and sending it to me to reinstall. Thanks for the prompt!
I may just make a call to them myself to if its a trend for them not to work. It's not a real issue for me. I don't mind leaving it on overnight, but not really all day when I'm at work. It is a lot bigger than I expected, but I got over that. Sometimes I keep it in the laundry room (when I have guests), other times I keep it on its on little bistro table.

Good buy! I paid $130 for mine and it's plastic and doesn't have a timer! (I still love it, though....) :wuv

well I'm feeling better about my purchase after reading all of your responses...thank you. ever have buyers remorse?? I did after I saw I won that bid especially since I didn't know the brand name and it was a total impulse buy. I'm currently using a plastic, round dehydrator that has no temp. control and it probably killing the nutrition! Plus the darn plastic I can't get over. So, although I knew I wanted something other than plastic, I didn't know what I wanted to get.
Thanks again, you guys made my day!!:kisses:
