So, with my blood type..B...I'm supposed to stay away from lentils and chick peas. Now, on raw, I haven't followed this, but my stomach is super upset from a wrap I made with sprouted chick peas. Just wondering if this is why???

I dunno. Try it again and see. Personally, I don't like the taste of sprouted chick peas.

chick peas are very heavy. I only eat very few sprouted but I am not group B. Personally I think that eating for group is probably mumbo-jumbo

I hear what you are saying, however our origins begin with our ancestry and
there is supposed to be a connection with blood type to heritage...also similar to metabolic profiling. I didn't really listen to it entirely since avocados are on my avoid list and I think I do well on them!!!

I'm O+ and I don't care for sprouted legumes at all.

I am type B, i don't seem to have problem with either chick peas or lentil. I was like deb, i didn't like the sprouted one but now, i just love them. My body did change. I make sure to rinse them very well.I actually had chick peas today, lol...

All the best

Today, I made my second batch of Alisa's spicy refried beans from my successfully sprouted chick peas...had it in a collard green and it totally messed up my stomach. I never had an issue with cooked chick peas... oh well.
Going to toss this batch. It's no fun having an upset stomach for 2-3 hours!!!
blahhhhhh!

thanks for your posts!!!

I am A+ and have no idea what that means. I know that I can not have dairy ever since I was very, very young, and that gluten gives me fits and a few other things cause me grief with my health. I am impressed though, not a possibility on the planet that I will be eating any sprouted legumes any time soon! You are a better person than I am, lol.

Honour your body maybe in one year, you will be able to test it again. You can substitute the chick peas with sprouted sunflower to do the refry beans. Everything can be interchange with raw food, this is the great aspect of it.

It took me about 4 years to be into sprouted legume, i just didn't care and i didn't like it. Like you, i liked the cook version. Now, i love it raw. Go figure.

[QUOTE=ashley12;684393]I am totally agree that the chick peas are very heavy, but I don't think so it can made any special effect on blood type..B.

I'm type B also but I didn't know any particular food that is not right for me. I think I have to search on it or better ask my doctor. Thanks for sharing it.

Janice,
It is controversial...some really believe in it and shed a ton of weight
by staying away from the foods on the avoid list and others who know about it don't follow it. My question is, does it make a difference if it is raw and sprouted vs. cooked. I now know that I can not have chick peas period.
Chick peas are on my avoid list.
You can google the subject and find out what's on your list.
Good luck.
Oh, and most conventional doctors won't know what you are talking about since they know nothing about nutrition!

I am A and it pretty much hits the nail on the head if I were a Type A. Although I find seafood repulsive and to not touch soy in any way shape or form.
I already knew I had reactions to gluten and dairy and was removed from them as a young child. I did not know until about 6 months ago that I was having reactions to animal proteins.
My eyes would swell up and glow like I was on the cast of Twilight and not vegetarian!

Unfortunately, it is not a rv list. But fruits and veggies are listed for every single type.
