OK, family of 4, but I am eating a lot of produce these days:
9 pounds of bananas
5 pounds of bell peppers
2 pounds of hot peppers
3 pounds of onions
7 pounds of cabbage
3 pounds of apples
2 pounds of oranges
1 pound cherries
2 pounds strawberries
6 pounds of tomatoes
1 pound of leeks
1 pound other berries
2 pounds of lettuce
1 pound of kale
1 pound of spinach
So, 45 pounds in our home... I'll eat 20 to 25 pounds over the next week. The family will eat the rest. And we are finishing 2 pounds of spinach tonight, plus some broccoli.

About 120-130 lbs.
2 bushels of apples plus about 10 lbs of carrots and assorted weights of other goodies. Oh and I've got a bunch of bananas I froze in the freezer from a case that was starting to go.

Our last shopping spree for a 10 day juice fast. After 11 days it is about 85% gone and we had to get 3 more bags of apples and we have bought some avocados, romaine lettuce, and even more apples and another melon today. And yes, we both lost at least one pant size the last ten days eating all that!

That was our shopping spree 10 days ago. The counter is about 3 feet wide and filled to the back. It is about 85% gone after 10 days. But shopping is 90 miles one way. Gotta buy a lot when we go. With the kids now having an interest in the juice, it will probably be more next time.

I finished the last half a pineapple for dinner tonight. I had to fight my cat for it! To be fair, our two cats got into the yellow honeydew container and ate the whole thing! So we had some help eating it. LOL
Your list is pretty long though.......might be close.

What a great thread! On summer time, i can have so so many produce, lol.... I don't know in pound wise though. On winter, i don't buy that much, because nothing is fresh and i try to sprout more and i just buy as i need it. I have been doing water fast too, so i would only buy for the family. I only have one fridge upstairs and if i could spare a spot, i would have two fridge in my kitchen, lol... but i have a small one downstairs. Let's say that my food pantry is used mostly for storage, because, my fridge is the pantry mainly. I have in my pantry, legumes, flax seed etc... but it doesn't use much space. At time, i carry a mountain of banana for smoothie, making fruit leather etc. We buy at least two case of young coconut per week.

Around 75 lbs or so. I just went to town two days ago and I try to only go every 10-14 days.
I needed to take these pictures anyway. And this was a good excuse to put the majority of everything on the counter before I made much of a dent in it.

I fill up a double cupboard with fruit and a shelf in the fridge with the juicing stuff and half the freezer with frozen berries and fruit -about 30-40 pounds. I feel sorry for the folks who have to check us out because produce requires a lot of typing in codes, but no one has ever complained.
1 pound herb salad mix
1 pound roma tomatoes
1 pound blueberries
3 pounds bananas
3 pounds apples
2 pounds pears
1/2 pound red bell pepper
1/2 pound cuke
2 pound tangerines
1/2 pound grated carrots

Papa, that's such a beautiful picture. I can't see any other pics on my work computer, but maybe when I can from my home computer. Tracyeraw, I think the exact same thing- I wanted to take a picture, but who'd want to see it? I will def take pics next time I shop.

Tigger, is that secondary fermentation you've got going on in that car boy? Are you making wine?

I can see pics now!! How lovely tigger & fastfreedom. I couldn't imagine consuming all that before it went bad.... That's always my goal, since I have had problems in the past not eating food fast enough. You all do so well.

LOL, dh and I were juicing, so it went FAST. My fridge is full again this week. We both still make juice every day. I make two, he makes at least one. It does not last long when you juice it. But the blast of nutrition you get from a green juice is phenomenal. Try using Cron-O-Meter (free-google it) and tracking the nutrients per usda sometime. It will blow your mind.
I also have a teenage daughter who likes fresh juice and smoothies and is influencing her friends, who come over for smoothies and juice and banana whips now, lol. I may need a job to feed her friends!!! :) There are a lot of people snacking on that pile of fruit, lol.
I forgot to add, my two cats ate my canary melon. :( So they decided to help out. And my cat (Oreo) tried to fight me for my pineapple. >:(

Being one that stocks many seeds, it would be quite a bit. Lets see:
* rye grain = 50 pounds
* sunflower seed = 70 pounds
* sesame seed = 27 pounds
* wheat grain = 15 pounds
* barley grain = 13 pounds
* oat grain = 22 pounds
* millet = 7 pound
* amaranth = 10 pound
* quinoa = 1 pound
* chia = 7 pounds
* flax = 1 pound
* mung bean seed= 26 pound
* adzuki bean seed = 44 pounds
* lentil seed = 22 pound
* peaches = 26 pounds
* blue berries = 13 pound
* pairs = 11 pound
That's most of the stuff off hand, but l have a bunch of other stuff that l haven't bothered to count, but the stuff above are the main amounts.
365 pounds. A sproutarian has always got to have a good amount of stock on hand because shortages come up quite often and can cause big hassles. As it is, i've been waiting on some big bags of seeds for the last 5 or 6 months, so when it comes in, l buy in bulk.
l am the only person l know who buys 55 pound bags of sesame seeds, not even the health food shops do that for their stores.

You are lucky that you can eat it faster than the viability of the seed degrades. It's certainly the cheaper option to buy in bulk.

If they are wanted then they aren't weeds. They are all plants afterall.

Sure is cheaper, but l am going to get smarter soon, l will get a business discount and probably get around 40% further off and delivered to my door.
Oh yeah, l also have green peas. 220 pounds.
So that brings my total to 585 pounds.
l go through 44 pound of sunflower seeds every 3 months, so 176 pound a year. Roughly one large tray of sunflower greens a day.
Also been waiting on a 44 pound sack of buckwheat for the last 4 months at least along with an 11 pound sack of fenugreek. .

It's more "potential" weight that actual produce weight though. I think produce refers to perishable goods.

Maybe so Mystic, but he started the thread. ;)
We don't have lots and lots of produce right now. Towards the end of the month we are always out of money. We have about 10 lbs of apples, 4 gallons of mixed greens salad, around 10 lbs of assorted citrus (lemons, limes, tangerines, mandarins and oranges), a honeydew and a rock melon, around a lb of baby carrots, and I just finished the last lb of grapes. Oh, and about 6 quarts of random sprouts in the fridge with 5 quarts in the rack still sprouting. We eat about 10 quarts of sprouts a week between the two of us right now.
As for seeds we have:
.5 lb fenugreek
1 lb poppy seeds
1.5 lbs alfalfa seeds
2 lbs clover seeds
3 lbs amaranth
3 lbs green lentils
3 lbs red lentils (need to find a use for these. They are too broken and spoil instead of sprout)
3 lbs black chia seeds
4.5 lbs dried whole green peas
4.5 lbs quinoa
5 lbs sunflower seeds
5 lbs sesame seeds
10 lbs rye
about 700 lbs of wheat (most of it hard red winter wheat, with some soft white spring)
I'm slowly increasing the amounts of seeds I buy as we learn what we like. We've only been high raw for about 6 weeks now.
