View Full Version : Eating Raw Now

so I am eating now, off of the juice fast. I finally feel good!!(yea) So, my silly question is, do we eat whenever or whatever when we feel hungry (as long as it is raw)? Or, do I follow a 3-4 meal eating plan? Does this make sense? I guess I feel like I am eating all day or something and almost feel guilty for it.

Hi Glad!

I'm so glad (lol) that you are feeling better!!

As to your question: when do you eat? Well, you will notice that you might get hungry an hour before lunch, and if it's just you, you can decide to eat right then, but if you are eating with others, there's no harm to wait untill the actual lunch hour.
What I do is basically eat when hungry. That depends each day, but it's usually about 3 to 4 hours after I woke up. I'll eat something then, not very much though, just untill I'm satisfied. If I get hungry in between meals, i eat, If I'm not hungry around meal time, I don't eat... simple as that. Sometimes I'm hungry, but then I don't eat (not intentionally) and after a while I'm like 'oh yeah, I was hungry, hmmm, not anymore now, okay, no harm, I'll just wait till I'm hungry again'..

My meals are very small, most of the time like a couple of bananas, two apples, half a pineapple or something... I eat maybe 4 times a day, sometimes two, it depends...
but DO eat when you are hungry!! And eat untill you are satisfied. Don't think you have to eat little portions like when on some crappy diet, eat untill done :)

No but for real, it's been said that when first starting out, eat however much, whenever you feel the "need" to (raw) and once your body gets used to eating this way, it will then let you know what's up. You'll find yourself eating more simple and eating less frequently or eating only to fulfill true hunger.

But for now, just eat raw! ;)

oh, no fear, I think thats what I have been doing, at least it feels like it...anyway thats where I guess the guilt feeling is coming in. But to be honest, looking over the day, I guess its really not that much afterall, just portioned out in intervalls so to speak. This is great, I love this fresh juicy tastes of the fruits especially, and I have always been big on salads. I think I like this!!! I guess I could say I am almost scared to venture out into making some of these delicious sounding recipes you guys talk of, at least for right now, I just grab it and eat (LOL)
