Thought it might be fun to share and might be helpful to some-

For me it's 1. not running out of food - sounds simple but over the weekend I was out of veggies to juice and really out of food in general. And I can't just run into town and get organic produce that's the next town over and the closest whole foods is 1.5 hours away.So I have to make sure I'm always stocked up especially this time of year. It's much easier to stay away from non raw when you have lots of raw food in the fridge.

2. variety- I like to have lots of greens & sprouts available to juice and make salads with etc. I also like to have fruits and raw bars available for snacks and I like to order from purerawcafe on a regular basis. Her food is so good and for me it helps to keep eating raw fun and fufilling

Always having raw cheesecake in my freezer! :) It's my "go to" food when I need something substantial/sweet/filling/lasting/to fill a craving.

I so agree with having enough food. And not just enough, but enough good stuff and quick stuff (which for me is bananas and oranges and apples). If I'm starving, I need something I can grab immediately and not have to make.

As far as motivation, I just feel better and I can run around and do what I want to do. I'm getting to be an oldish lady so that's important to me. :)

Good question! :heart

Hi there,
I also look to have enough fresh food at home. I keep dates for cravings then I eat some dates and the cravings are gone. Also as you said having enough raw food at home and very important for me:
Be mentally prepared to neglect food that is offered to you any time & be well prepared in case of going to a non-raw social event.

Agree with the above, especially having food available.

My go to food is Avocado! If I'm hungry (like I've gotten caught short...) it's the only thing that will keep me on track. Other things just don't seem to give me a full feeling especially if I'm a little 'frantic about food' at the moment.

How does it feel to choose raw instead of supporting the industry of forcing food thru manufacturing and into packages, in an infinite stream of copies? What is the end result of choosing raw? Do we finally start to see the food that nourishes us? Each fruit, each green leaf, each nut, seed and vegetable is like a snowflake – no two are alike. Each one is a unique and exquisite expression.

Enjoy your health it means so much to you and those around you. Take it in during this holiday with love and peace. Notice what happens to your energy with choices you make. Take a yoga class. Have some oxygen for breakfast.
Best wishes to every single one of you!
