Hi everyone. I'm a newbie. Just ordered the book and DVD. Can't wait to get it. I have been transitioning from dead food eater to vegetarian (kinda-sorta) and mixing in raw food. It is hard to when the rest of the family doesn't want to change but I can make it happen for myself. I'm not 100% of any style of eating but I am 100% sure that I can make this happen. (Maybe not all at once but eventually) :o I'm glad I found this site. Gotta get a before picture taken before I don't look like this anymore..... :p
Hi Nuttie!
I've been mostly raw since July, 100% for almost a month. My family is just now starting to realize mom's got some good stuff! Tonight my 14 year old daughter asked for a green smoothie for dinner, and I had to fight my 12 year old son for my pesto stuffed mushrooms.
You've got a great attitude about this, yes, be 100% sure, but also be patient with yourself. You may be able to make the change overnight, or you may fall off a few times. But what's important is that you don't give up. You have an unlimited number of free new starts. Use as many as you need until you find what works for you.
There's a tremendous support group here. It's VERY HARD to fail!
Best of luck to you!

Things are going ok, but........ I am waiting for my book and DVD to come. In the meantime I am doing the best that I can with all of your help and inspiration. I think that I have been doing better than I thought I would. I have a super craving for icecream right now. I hope I can figure out the journaling section on this site. Is there a "list" anywhere on foods I can get started on while I'm getting prepared and waiting for the book and DVD? I mean I have been researching for weeks now but what I was looking for was like a shopping list of items. Will that be in the book? I'm just being anxious. :p
