...raw, organic greens...

If you are not 100% raw, for whatever reason, remember to get those greens in! They will do more for your health than any other food!

I am very financially challenged. I have been 100% raw in the past, but am unable to be right now. I made a decision a few weeks ago to start each day by drinking raw, organic greens and just by accomplishing that one goal alone I have:

1) Changed my blood sugars
2) Lowered my blood pressure
3) Increased my energy level
4) Balanced AND elevated my mood
5) Slept better
6) Healed from oral surgery in an almost "unbelievable" amount of time (according to my dentist)

I can find TONS of articles on google about this, but I am living proof to what can happen in a very short amount of time just by getting the vitamins, minerals, amino acids (protein) and chorophyll from greens directly into your blood stream.

I started out the New Year with the desire to eat as much raw, organic produce as I could afford. After a week I had a "vision" of drinking this most important food group! I have only been starting out my day this way for a mere two weeks and am already experiencing all of the above.

Raw is good! Raw is great! But I am thoroughly convinced that raw, organic greens are the answer!!!

thinking in arizon you could grow greens year round , maybe have to use cold frames in water .
or hoop enclosures of clear plastic sheeting over pvc pipe arches . or micro greens in trays on a sun
porch

could buy grey stripe sunflower seeds sold as bird food very cheap by the 10 lb or 50 lb amounts
and grow excellent micro greens

or here at this link you can buy very cheap spinach seeds , one lb is 32,000 seeds and only cost with
shipping just over $10 , link

I appreciate your response, but that won't work for me (studio apt. [so no space], no patio, no deck, no sunlight, I live right at the freeway so poison air)...

BUT the point I was trying to make was that GREENS are the most important thing we can eat!!!

GREENS :excited:

They're amazing in how they make you feel. I too think that they are very important and should be consumed daily.

I'm thinking of making me some green juice right now.

Greens are great but the key to good health is a varied diet. Just greens wouldn't be enough. We need lots of different things so there isn't any "one most important food" in my view.

BEEEE-eautiful!

I had to smile as I've got the same juicer (well, ours is a Samson) and I've even got the same straws (Glass Dharma) and the cobalt blue dotted straw is my fave.

Now ---- if I only had that beautiful countertop!! :)
