Hi my name is Allie. About a year ago I began my health journey and consumed only raw and living foods. As a 21 year old student, I was faced with many eating challenges on the college campus. After about three months, on-and-off each week, I gave into cooked foods, cheeses and other non-raw foods. I am back now with new hope and motivation, and hopefully will also have the help of this community. My roommate and I, and our newly purchased juicer, are beginning this raw food diet, and we are both going to use this forum as support. I can say that during my periods of raw eating last year, I felt energized, happy and anxiety-free. I am one week raw as of now. I am excited to be on this journey with all of you!

Best,

Allie

my usual staples : bananas - avacado - romaine - dandelion grrens - kale - tomato - onion - walnut - almond - sesame seed - brocoli - mushroom - oranges - cold pressed extra virgin olive oil - apple cider vinegar - garlic clove - fresh parsley - green pepper - dry dates - dry figs - hemp seed - pumpkin seed - sun flower seed - make protein rich mylks out of the seeds in blender that then make fruit smoothies with or drink plain . i feel as though the home made nut / seed mylks are a key , along with dark greens in salads , to raw veganism . thats my opinion as 18th year vegan 6th year high raw , its not anybody elses and i might be stupid so be leary ;-)
this time year canstill find good apples to juice from fall crop , oranges if your juicer does them well . anyway just some ideas in case helps
