OK, I won't pretend this is a big issue for me. It isn't. But of the 5 people who I have told that I am eating about 80% raw, I think 3 of them, and maybe 4, have questioned the validity of this lifestyle..... Yes, I "could" refer them to many raw food websites.... I "could" tell them to watch Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead..... I could just say, "How can eating fruits and vegetables be bad for you?"

So, I have lost 6 pounds..... started 2 weeks ago with this lifestyle change. I have 98 more pounds to go.

So how I have come to deal with them is by saying.... "Just withhold all those bad thoughts, and come talk to me after March 5th, because I have a physical scheduled then, and it includes blood work. If I haven't lost weight, and if my blood work numbers are not better, then feel free to give me a hard time. I'll put money on it, will you?"

What is your approach?

Results speak louder than words. Give it more time and then watch their reactions change. It's something that most of us had to put up with in the beginning. But once those around you begin seeing changes they won't have any ground to stand on and they won't have anything to say.

It seems to me that people we associate with want us to be like them. So if they are unhealthy they want others around them to share in their misery. And when you begin to change, they can see that there's a possibility that you will outgrow and even leave them because you are no longer on the same level with them. This will scare them into trying to strike fear into you by telling you their negative opinions to keep you at their level.

We are the sum of our 5 closest friends. So if you find that your friends are not changing with you, sometimes it's better to find new friends. It's not worth your life to let negative people suck your energy and bring you down. Find friends that want to lift you up and empower you. Trust me, they are out there.

And being on a raw food lifestyle is going to seriously raise your vibration. You'll see. ;-) You will simply have an aura around you that only good people will be attracted to.

I had problems at work too. First I ignored them then I made comments about there food. Nobody likes anybody to say anything about what your eating. Just keep up the good work. Soon your skin will be glowing your clothes will be baggier and they will be jelous. Then they will ask can you help me? Don't say Im eating RAW just say im eating a healthy diet. Ive learned not to say anything let the results speak for themselves. The first time They called my green juice swamp sludge then I lost 9lbs in 2 weeks then they asked how do you make that stuff.

I agree with fast freedom. Keep out the negative Keep it positive.
