I'm in Week 2 of a modified 30-day challenge (non-raw nuts on their own). Right now, I feel full, but also very unsatisfied because of increasing cravings...possibly from sugar. Do people experience this and what do you do in these instances? Eat more, even though you're full?

And because somebody will ask, today I've eaten a green smoothie (spinach, banana, mango, pineapple, strawberry), raw almonds (30?), salad with ~3 tbs avocado, tomato and celery, chia pudding, 4 dates with a bit (<1tbs) of raw almond buter (delicious!), a bowl of grapes/blueberries/blackberries and a few homemade sweet potato chips.

How to address the increasing cravings for things not raw? :(

Continue your green smoothie, they will help with cravings. It will go away. Eat more fruits perhaps in the morning. Your body needs sugar for every single cell of your body.

Don't forget to sprout your nuts always.

You could have emotional cravings and looking for comfort food. Check for raw gourmet recipe from Alissa's books or dvd, they will help you for emergency craving.

Drink more water. Drink water before your eat always, to help to settle down your guts. Sometime when we are thirsty, our body will generate hunger.

All the best

Try some agave nector or honey with a bananna. The craving should subside soon. I was a sugar junkie. It I eat fruits for breakfast I usually don't crave it the rest of the day. Your body will adjust. Keep up the good work. 2 weeks is something to be proud of. :)

I've never had that happen with sugar, but I have with salt. (Raise your hand if you're a recovering salt addict!) Anyway, smoothies, water and all that helped for me :)
