I was reading today how juicing Red Beets are so healthy for the blood.
It helps with low iron, and low blood counts.
I was wanting to know if they had to be red beets, or would the orange/yellow beets just as good? I like the lighter color beets
because they don't dye your hands red, and whatever else the color gets on.
But, I really would like to know so I can make sure I'm doing the right thing. I need to increase my blood counts, and really
help my low hem.
Thanks!!

LOL. I've learned to wear a shirt I don't care about staining while juicing beets. Bust sometimes I don't care and I now have lots of shirts with red dots all over em. That and pomegranates.

I would be interested to know this too. Have you searched for this on the net?

If I were to use my opinion on color alone I would guess that red beets are better for blood than orange ones. But I really don't know. It just kind of reminds me of how tomatoes are good for the heart and have four chambers like the heart does. Or how the walnut is good for the brain and a walnut looks like a brain. There are some others I can't think of at the moment.
