Hi,

Has anyone made their own raw peanut butter. I got about 3 lbs maybe of raw peanuts. I have an omega 8004 I am planning to use to make it. What is a good way to make this, anyone got a recipe? Did you just do straight raw peanuts and nothing else?

Hi! :D

I don't eat peanuts, and I'm not entirely certain but I think peanuts are not good for the body. I'm sure someone else can pipe in to explain further....

Now raw almond butter is....YUM....

There is concern that peanuts are contaminated with aflatoxin, a highly toxic carcinogenic compound. cooking does not destroy it

I love peanut butter, however i am going to stop eating it once i've finished the jar I have at the moment. I've emailed the company about whether they have any information about levels of aflatoxin in their products, though I'm yet to receive a reply. im going to start making my own raw nut butters from almonds and hazelnuts instead.

I have heard that peanuts are full of fungus as well as corn. Strangest thing...I saw dehydrated powdered peanut butter in the HFS yesterday. The plastic jar it was in was light as a feather.

You can make fresh with raw, organic Jungle Peanuts!

Whole Foods Market sells them and so does Raw Guru!
