Hello everyone!
Does anyone know if I can get the saladacco slicer in Europe? Or even the spiralo, or spirali for that matter. I found the the spiralo at uk juicers but shipping is really expensive (to Greece).
I'm looking for a german site that may have it, so I could possible get a better price and maybe less shipping, but I haven't had any luck so far.

I'm not sure about Europe, though I have to say that I have both the spirooli and the benriner, and I FAR prefer the benriner. Perhaps that is available near you?

It's available, but a little too expensive for me right now. Plus it's only available at uk juicers, and shipping is 25 pounds, so the price goes up a lot :(

I realize this isn't what you were asking about - but this julienne peeler (http://www.amazon.com/OXO-Good-Grips-Julienne-Peeler/dp/B0000CCY1S/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1326298538&sr=8-2) is such a handy little gadget. I was at a raw food restaurant last year and this was all they had & used for their zucchini 'spaghetti'.

While I cannot find a spiral slicer locally, these are available where veggie peelers are sold. They work really well. They're also nice for things like yellow squash, carrots, etc. if you're making veggie or nori rolls.

Thanks DebB! I did find one of these. I may end up getting it, although I would prefer the long noodles that a spiralizer can make. :)

I certainly understand that Lucy! They are LONG! We had a friend over for dinner and he asked, "Just how BIG was that zucchini?" haha - those noodles were about 8 feet long! It's amazing... and a FUN gadget!

Oh wow! I can't wait!!
I ordered it yesterday from amazon, but they said it may take 7-21 business days... I hope it's no more than seven hahah!

I bought a fruit and veg peeler - the sort that peels in one long strip - in a charity shop and I use that. It's a bit slow but you get one long noodle per pass along the length of the veg. I'll see if I can find a picture.

I just remove the blade that slices the apple but it still takes out the core.

I used to have something called a Rotato but I can't find an image of that. It did the same thing but didn't take out the core.
