Beautiful Raw Babies/Kids

I saw the beautiful pic of Rawkinlocs baby, and thought this might be a fun thread for you moms and dads out there.

I have no pics to put up here, but I know alot of you do.

I've seen some mighty beautiful babies and kids interspursed among pics of kitchens and food etc.

So, if you wish to share your pics, I would love to see them, (I guess it's getting to be the holidays, and I miss my grandkids a tad)

Anyway, let's see those pretty and handsome raw faces-- hey even if they aren't raw. :o)

Here is my little girl, Maelie , who is 3 and a half. she is very talkative !!
I am trying to educate her about healthy foods so she won't end up like me!! :)
I started off in life with a very unhealthy diet of meat , potatoes and corn. My mom is still very unhealthy and when she visited here just 2 weeks ago, she had to sneak out and buy chip, cookies and a marshmallow peanut butter treat because she said she was lacking salt and sugar eating here LOL. I figure i cannot control what other feed my daughter, so i try hard to be clear with her about healthy and unhealthy foods. I take advantage of the fact that she is easy to influence by her mama! I am sure it is paying off... because she talks about it all the time now, and when i give her a choice at the supermarket to choose anything she wants as a treat, she requests green beans LOL The checkout person couldn't even put them in the bag, she had to carry her green beans out of the store by herself!

Okay,

Here is my grandson, Bryson (who lives with me). It's a picture of his mother and him just before they left for a hockey game.

He's 2 years, 2 months
95% Raw
Only been sick once, last December (almost a year ago).
He didn't start to eat until he was 11 months old.
He still nurses at night time.

We should have pics of our "raw" dogs. I have 2 dogs that eat all raw. One is a Siberian Husky and the other is a black lab retriever mix. Our 3 cats are also all raw :D

My dogs won't eat a tomatoe! They love carrot sticks, bananas, etc., but tomatoes come out as quickly as they go in. They won't eat them.

This is my darling healthy granddaughter, Liberty. These are from her visit a few weekends ago. The first one is at a local raw restaurant where I'm giving her mom a break from holding her as she slept. The previous evening she had virtually taken the place over, visiting every table and returning to the raw chef for hugs. The second picture is the next morning with her second bowl of avocado -- her current breakfast favorite. She is 2 years old now, was nursed till just a month or so ago, and is known at her local Trader Joe's as the mushroom girl since she devours 1/2 container by the time she gets to the checkout stand. I've written about her here before, so I won't bore anyone with the details. Suffice it to say, she's my moon and stars.

My sweet fruitbat...he knows what is best!!*s* I run a family day care program and feed the kids high raw during the day. I love this sweet baby like my own. I figure the parents will feed them as they will at night and on the weekends but at least they are exposed to wholesome raw food during the day and it may set their preferences. I know it has with this little guy.

I have to feed them some other non-raw foods due to regulations I must follow but even those things are all-natural, organics and the best I can feed them under the circumstances. But they all love fruit and veggies and get a lot of them.....and smoothies, and raw ice cream, etc...kids really are so much more open than the grownups.

Oh, my goodness .... how COOL they look !!!!!!

I have to admit....I ATE SOME...OK A LOT...OF CANDY TONIGHT !!!!!!

I did NOT enjoy anything except one peanut butter cup. Everything else was just awful !!! tasted awful and felt awful in my belly. YUCK !!! I'm already breaking out with zits, my mouth is kinda of numb, my toung a bit swollen, my teeth are COVERED with grime, I'm sweating ....A LOT all of a sudden, my heart seems to be beating a bit faster and like I said I feel like I have rocks in my stomach!

I forgot what I was REALLY missing being so high raw. NOTHING GOOD, that's for sure.

This is my baby Mae. She is 2 years +.

She is mostly raw. I cant say she prefers some foods over others, because the vegetables are always difficult. As I am sure some of you know. However, fruit is always a hit with my kid.

Rawkinlocs, your kids are gorgeous. I hope to get to Seattle someday. Just to check it out.

Tonight my two year old baby sister had a piece of candy in her hand and she asked me to open it for her and I was holding strawberries and asked her if she wanted some. She dropped the candy and ran to sit up at the table, I couldn't give her the strawberries quickly enough...I asked her which she liked better: strawberries or candy and she said strawberries without hesitation :) that made my day lol oh and she's a BIG broccoli fan...my mom has only given her cooked but still...she LOVES raw carrots :D

This is my daughter and I last october. She is 70 - 90% raw most days with me and as low as 50% raw when others feed her but luckily I am responsible for her feeding 80% of the time.

I think she is gorgeous but I am biased. I am trying for another and plan to raise the next one as high raw as I can from day one

Okay, I have to share pics of my kiddos since I am so proud of them and love them so much......I have to show them off! :D

Some days they are not high raw, but most days they are high or all raw. They go through apples like crazy! LOL! They also LOVE green smoothies, avocados, bananas, oranges, tomatoes (except my oldest), pineapple, mango, nuts and so much more! ;)

The oldest will be 6 next month, my dd will be 4 in June and the youngest is 17 months. These are current pictures, except the picture of all 3 of them was last summer. :)

This is my two year old sister...her name is heather. She definately isn't raw, but she loves fruits and raw veggies...unfortunately she also loves pasta and meat :rolleyes: but thats probably because its sort of forced upon her. Rawkinloks, what percentage raw are your childrens diets? What do they eat? How long have they been eating like that? Not only are they all strikingly beautiful but they also exude personality and spirit. They all look like they're terrific company.

I wondered if that's to do with them being raw or maybe its just genetic and they would have been like that whatever they ate. OHHH! I wish I could figure out how to get pictures from my phone to the computer! My youngest and only daughter will turn 6 on Tuesday, May 9th. She is SOOO excited about her birthday...it makes me wanna cry. I am so blessed to be a mom, and to have such healthy kids...even though they are not even high raw...they are starting to love things like raw ice cream, and smoothies. My daughter constantly asks me..."is _______ good for you?" and she tries to make the healthy choice. She is such a little me. Trying to do what I do, it melts my heart. One day, I'll get pictures up....it's so great to see everyone's BEAUTIFUL kids...and LF's cute sister...and Glimr's day care kid....they are all so precious! We are a lucky family here, aren't we?

what exactly is the concern? i have heard this before, that there is a concern about having public pictures on the net, but I dont understand exactly what it is... is it that someone might see the kids and then hunt them or something?

There are thousands and thousands of photos of children on the Internet, in the paper, newspaper, books, TV, etc. I haven't yet heard of someone going on and finding a picture of one child that they liked then took the time to try to find that particular child. I'm not saying it can't be done, but I've never heard of if personally or from reading about it. There are strangers in my own town that could pick up a child in a store, school, front yard or even backyard. It does happen, although, again I have never known anyone personally but I have read about this before. So I don't think the odds are anymore higher, probably less, having his/her picture on the board, than having them out in public. (just my humble opinon) :)

Hi! here are my twin girls, now they are 8.5 mo (on pictures they are 7mo). I nursed them exclusively until they were 6.5mo Now they are some 90% raw. As I am staying with my mom now I had to go for some compromise - I strictly refused to feed them any dairy products and meet (though our peditatritian said I should feed them meet when they were 7ml :eek: ) but I cannot endure all the pressure (my mom, pediatritian, all those little old ladies around etc) and give them some kind of porridge (just rolled oats + water, of buckwheat + water, or quinoa +water), boil them very short time and then leave to soften. Then I blend them with banana. They eat also some blended avocado, apples, prunes, pears. I give them also homemade almond or coconut milk. And I still nurse them 4 times a day and also when they awake at night. I am a bit exhausted because now they are theething - Anete has got 2 teeth, but Betija the little one (on the picture with an apple) has got 2 teeth and 4 more have appeared, so they wake up pretty often :D Compared to other babies the same age (formula fed and cooked) they are not very big at 8.5months Anete is 27.5 inches and 15.65 pounds; Betija is 25.6 inches and 13.22 pounds. They were born 5.95 punds and 19.29 inches. Their weight gain is not big, however stable, they are healthy and active. I myself struggle all the time to stay raw, and I frequently fall of the raw wagon :( but I hope they will help me to stay 100% because I believe this is the best for them. I am happy I found this board to share ideas and to find so many wonderful testimonies of lraw eating and raising raw kids!

My avatar picture is about 1 1/2 years old, but I have been transitioning my girls to raw for several months. My oldest, now almost 11, likes to visit this site and post periodically. Her screen name is "m&m" and she is in love with learning more about eating raw. :)

Ok~ I guess I will have to wait a while for a grandchild or two because my daughter is just going to be turning 20, and she is busy with her career, but when I do become a "granny" i will feed them raw when ever they are with me, and actually I am sure my daughter and ,hopefully, her future husband will too... ( we have had many vegan & raw discussions) so I must really take care of myself cuz I want a greanchild!

This is my daughter today, eating raw cookies and banana ice cream for dinner. I got her to eat all the ice cream and some soup that I made, but she just wanted to look at the cookies. She didnt want to eat any.

I'm looking for pictures of raw vegan kids on their own or with their mom/dad or just pictures of kids eating something raw. I would like to use it on some of the raw vegan web-sites that I create.

Some of the pictures in this thread are great and I'm up for seeing other pictures too. Would anyone be willing to let me put the pictures on the web-site?
