Hi guys i'm back after having some serious complication with my health, but all is good now and I'm back on track.
Reson for absence: About 3 months before Xmas I contacted a parasite from an unknown source and was iterally sick for 2 weeks. Unfortunately I fell straight off the wagon after that and I decided New Years to try and get back on. I haven't really eaten much raw foods over this period and as a result my energy levels have diminished, procress on my condition (Achromatopsia) was lost and I've even started to slip into old symptoms of depression.
Right now: Over the past week I've started getting raw foods back into my diet and I'm starting to feel good again. I've booked a colonic for 22nd of January and plan on fasting/feasting for a peroid during that time. i've also ordered an enema kit for use after the colonic. Anyone have any ideas of how I should proceed with the enema kit in terms of frequency of use and duration etc? Also is it ok to use bottled water?

Glad your back. I am curious about what kind of parasite you had.

It was some kind of intestinal parasite that casues extreme abdominal pain as well as headaches and diarrhea. did have the name of it written down so I'll post it when i find it. I was juicing wild grass at the time so i wouldn't be supprsied if it came from that.

Thanks. Im doing a parasite cleanse now. I don't think I have any but am concerned about them. Raw Angel Mom had some on a water fast they came out on her colonic. Its in the fasting thread. Great story. I wonder if a filter after juicing would help prevent them. I believe it would have to be a 0.2 micron filter. might take forever.

I've been researching healing clinics lately. And the successful ones all use either enema's and/or colonic's everyday. Sometimes twice a day or more. The Gerson Institute will use 5 or more coffee enemas per day, until properly detoxed.
Actually, here's a good video I watched last night talking a little bit about enema/colonic frequency. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DIgiVHqDXQ
If you have an intestinal parasite you could do some research on diatomaceous earth. It shreds parasites that it comes into contact with. But I will also comment that if you have one in your gut it is likely you have them elsewhere too. Not to worry you though, sorry if I did, but pretty much everyone is in denial about having parasites and nearly everyone has them. Doctor test's can't be relied upon to check for them either. And eating some garlic here and there isn't enough. Get a good parasite cleanse and be persistent. You may or may not get rid of em all the first time around, for some people it can take over a year of persistence.
Research this subject thoroughly if you want to evict all of them from your body. You may get information overload, but at least you will know how to get rid of them and what to do once they are gone to keep em from coming back.

Anyone know about what kind of water I should use for the enemas and if its ok to use tap water as i can't really afford distilled or filtered right now. Can I use bottled water?

A word about bottled water.... it's not good for us. My doctor claims that the plastic in which the water is in, is contaminated to some extent. It has been recycled, therefore can have anything microbacterial leach onto it without us knowing it. I contracted a parasite a couple yrs. ago. It lasted a few weeks (diarhea, stomach cramps, etc.) I couldn't leave the house....had to wear depends to get to the dr.s office .... I know, TMI!!!! Sorry. Anyway, thru process of ellimination, the bottled water I was drinking before I got sick was the culprit of the bug! The lab swabbed the inside of one of the bottles (dasani) and it came back contaminated!
I suggest a Brita filter for your faucet or a pitcher with a brita filter in it. Much safer than bottled water.
Peace, Bonie

Can you afford a Brita filter? Not the best yet, I used it for years before getting a more "hi-tech" type.

A friend and a guru off the internet told me to use my own urine. I though it was BS until I started doing research on it. Aparently its actually very sterile and as it came my my body and my body filtered it then whould that be a good thing to use. Urine also contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes and an antibacterial substance called urea. Any thoughts on that? It would be great for me as its free. My Enema kit is arriving either tomorrow or friday and i'm keen to see how it works etc.

There's a thread on drinking urine here somewhere. Might want to search that.
