After a few days of doing grapefruit and trying to do juice fasts on it, I just keep getting the feeling that it doesn't taste too good.
Grapefruits are perhaps the only fruit that I don't like. And perhaps, unripened bananas.

I love them juiced with apples but not by themself. If there not organic they just don't taste good to me. Eat what you like. You can mix them with a litte orange juice I heard that was good also.

Love grapefruit. Always have since I was a small child and never liked them with sugar on.
If you don't think you like them then don't eat them :o)

MysticTree~ I love them without sugar as well! But when I was a kid I didn't like them... now I love them!
Juicing them can sometimes leave them tasting extra bitter and pulpy tasting since the pith is hard to remove (and why would you want to it has so many nutrients in it). That's why I try to cut them up and spoon out the sections.

All the grapefruit I've eaten from the stores had never been good. I never liked the flavor of em. I only at them while going to high school for breakfast. So I've never purchased grapefruit to eat. Except one time for a liver cleanse.
Then last year my grandparents brought some grapefruit picked fresh from their trees in arizona. I was utterly shocked at how amazingly delicious they were. They were sweet and juicy. Nothing like the store bought ones I have had.
So I may have to give the store bought ones a try again. Maybe all the ones I ate during school were picked improperly by my family members that did the grocery shopping while I was in school? I dunno. But what I do know is that I would enjoy some more of those fresh ones from my grandparents trees. They were spectacular.

I really like eating grapefruit a lot, too. It's one of my very favorite fruits but I am not a big fan of juicing it. I tried that last month and it was bitter to me.

I always juice them lightly on a citrus press/juicer so that the pith isn't breached. The juice is a delight then.
I love to juice 5-6 sweet oranges and 1 pink grapefruit - yum!!

Hmm, it depends. Just like that, meh, probably no. But when playing around with my juicer I kind of like tossing it in and mixed with other fruit, it's quite yummy.

I love either the pink or ruby red. I juice them with oranges and tangerines.
This year I've had some of the best ones - no acidic taste, just pure sweetness.
Also use a citrus juicer

They're okay, but I kind of gag when thinking about them too because I associate them with the liver cleanse, something I've done sooo many times when I was younger (and usually is rather uncomfortable).

I've enjoyed them since childhood. Nowadays one of my favorite juices is grapefruit and kale--but if you are not into sour/bitter/sweet at once this is not for you!
