i got alissa's new book today, (raw food for everyone) and kinda wondering why she has a whole chapter on alcoholic drinks. just seems kinda weird to me.. that all what do you all think?

Yes, I certainly found that odd when I bought her book. I think there is some justification out there for certain types of alcohol being raw.. I believe wine and sake. Personally, I don't drink often, and ignore the sections in any book that offer those kinds of recipes.

I didn't even notice, lol....
This book is from her restaurant's recipes that her chef used to serve to the client.
The food is so delicious and great when you have guess coming over.

I agree. It's from her restaurant and some people do like to drink alcohol. I just passed by that section.

While I don't think drinking alcohol is good for raw foodies there are a lot of people who do drink and could receive a huge benefit from using raw food mixers as opposed to plastic bottles of pasteurized juice and powdered mixes. And I want them to have virgin raw options at bars as well so I can enjoy a drink with friends, which becomes possible when raw and alcohol get blended.
