raw chestnuts!!!

For some reason I thought that Chestnuts had to be roasted (or boiled etc.) but it turns out that you can eat them raw!

I've always eaten them raw since I was a kid. My mother thought I was nuts but recently she's tried them too and likes them raw also.

they are very good. We collect them from the forest where my mother lives but also to a lesser extent locally in Bristol.
