I really like green smoothies and I'm trying to make a blender full every morning and drink it througout the day. I find that when I fill the blender with fruit and greens that I end up with about 24 oz. Now I've consistently read that Victoria B. believes everyone should have a quart a day, but my thought is that there's a lot of variety to that "everyone." At 4'9" and 95 lbs do I need the same amount as a guy who's 6'2" and 200 lbs? Has anyone ever heard a discussion on this?

Why don't you just drink it until you're full. Nothing more nothing less. If you want to drink them twice a day, do the same thing. Don't worry about strict guidelines as far as oz are concerned. Your body will tell you when you've reached your limits.
I can't drink more than 32 oz at one time...I'm 6'1" and around the 200 mark. My stomach can't handle any more of it...actually I tried drinking more one time, but that was a big mistake as it kept on coming back up.
I'd pay attention to what your body tells you is right. Everyone is different so this is important. Not sure why there's any strict measurement rules....guidelines are IMO a lot better and more balanced.

I am a female ...125 pds...and my max is about 16 oz. at a time. I make mine "rich" with a whole bunch Kale, whole head romaine, a cucumber, 3-4 celery, apple, a small or 1/2 lemon...and this can be stretched with water to 32 oz easily to I juice one in the day. I do use the blender sometimes if I want to add to it later in the day after I already cleaner the Juicer. That works good and adds some fiber.
So go with what feels good for your body.

Right now I have an el-cheapo Osterizer blender that I've used so far only for blending smoothies. I'd love to use just apples or pears, water and greens in a smoothie sometime, but it blends up like applesauce. It tastes like I am drinking applesauce with greens added, and to me it's not terribly appealing. However, does a vitamix or "professional quality" blender blend such a thing nice and creamy-like? If I were to consider spending money on something like that I'd want a guarantee that I would get that kind of consistency.
So far, to get the creamy fruit taste, I use bananas, and add apples to that mixture. That makes it creamy and smooth with my current blender.
Green smoothies -- I love them! I drink a liter (full blender) of green smoothie every morning for breakfast. I have been drinking big smoothies in the morning for years, though it took some time to gradually increase both the amount of greens and the overall smoothie size. Some days the smoothie really fills me up, and some days I feel like I could drink another liter, which is amazing but true. Well I guess it's not that amazing, as lots of people can eat tons of dehydrated food, but I find it very hard to eat more than just a little bit at a time. We're all different. I suppose I'm just a smoothie monster. :D
