In a house surrounded by non-raw non-vegans, here's my plan for enjoying all the holiday feasting while staying raw:
* Raw egg nog and creamy cashew-based smoothies. I'm drinking these all week long!
* Alissa's bacon..... never tried it, but I'm armed with two eggplants and ready to dehydrate a massive amount for snacking!
* Kale chips.... just finished 10 trays worth.
* Onion bread..... ingredients assembled, dehydrating today
* Alissa's Mock Salmon..... making a double-batch for immediate-gratification snacking purposes and meals.
* nori rolls with parsley-rice.... for when there's sit-down meals.
My plan is to have all these snacks ready, and then enjoy my favorite juices in addition to constant snacking. I'm doing spicy tomato-chili V-8 type thing along with apple-carrot-ginger....
COULD'VE made something more gourmet like mock turkey, but didn't want to spend the holiday in the kitchen (for once!).
What's YOUR plan for a festive and raw holiday season?
