Hi,
The other day I was at the store and saw this fruit I never seen before. It was just like a Grapefruit but it was much bigger. It was about twice the size of a Grapefruit, and it was all green, and it smelled like Grapefruit. I almost bought it but thought to myself that I may not like it so I passed. Anyone know what it might have been? I saw the name but don't really remember it. I may have started with a C.
Thx

Oh, these are so yummy! Sweeter than the grapefruit, I can eat the WHOLE thing! I like them better than grapefruit too. They are sweeter but also drier whilst still being juicy which is odd! I too can eat a whole one :o)

I've seen something like this at the Korean stores around here called "cocktail fruit." Not organic so I've shied away but I think I'll give it a shot after reading the reviews here.

Yeah I checked a whole list of citrus fruits and the only thing that came close to it were Pomelo and Citron. And it couldn't be Citron cause based on the description it is a dry not edible fruit. They may of had a different name for it at the store. I don't recall it being named Pomelo. But it really does fit the description of Pomelo. I will probably pick one up to try it out since I never had it. I hope they still got them when I next go to the store.

My supermarket suddenly has these too.
If you get one, let us know what you think! I'm on the fence about buying one as they're pricey and I'm not a fan of grapefruit.

I went back and got one at the store it was $2 for one of them. It was actually pretty good. The inside of the fruit looks and smells like grapefruit but is actually sweet almost like an orange with a subtle grapefruit taste. It is a pretty large fruit. I ate a few pieces then juiced the rest.

Thanks for the update!
It sounds good, but I'm not sure it was two-dollar-good?
Because I can get a coconut for that price.... and THAT equals two days of happy snacking!

Yeah it is kind of pricey. I would only buy this as a once in awhile treat. You don't see it often either. It was the first time I ever seen one. So I bought it to try it out. It is a large fruit though, it is like 2 large oranges combined. When I juiced it I got about 3 cups of juice.
