Today was my sixth day raw, (well on the fourth day I had some peanut butter and popcorn) but other than that I have been completely raw for six days. I haven't really been experiencing too many detoxing symptoms; but this morning I felt a pain in my right leg, behind my knee and down into my calf and ankle. I remember watching Dan McDonald's video last night and somebody on a water fast complained of joint pain. Can this be a symptom of detoxing? I'm worried because I am overweight, sedentary, and on birth control which puts me at risk for blood clots. So I guess my question is, is this a common symptom (or a symptom at all) or should I be making a Doctor's appointment? Thank you!

I would definitely check with your doctor. Look at your toes if they are turning pale or any shade of blue thats a blood clot. It sounds like you might of pulled something. Good Luck Stay Raw.

Yes, yes and yes you are detoxing.
The kidney on that side of your leg cannot keep up either, continue to eat fruits/greens and as much live food as possible. Limit nuts or high concentrate fat just for now to give a brake to your kidney. Nothing wrong with nuts or fat just when you detox, it saturate your kidney. I won't even talk about animal protein for they are nasty on your body.
Congratulations with your raw journey, i am excited for you when you realize how much year of aging you will pill off.
All is well and keep up the great work.
p.s I am not a medical doctor, please research.

It's the liver that deals with fats not the kidneys.
