They tell us tips for better circulation when our circulation is poor, but they never tell us what good circulation means.

If I can feel my pulse in my toes or my fingers sometimes without even touching them with my hands. Sometimes I can feel my pulse in my head, and I don't have to use my hands to feel the pulse in my head.

Before, I could feel nothing. I couldn't feel any pulse at all in my toes or my fingers.

Am I supposed to feel a pulse everywhere in my body?

these are the regular medical points. You will also likely as not be able to feel a pulse in your thumb sometimes which is why you should not use your thumb to feel for a pulse.

Sometimes we can feel our hearts pounding or similar and that is often anxiety. If you are worried then go get yourself checked out.

Sometimes i feel my heartbeat in strange areas of the body as well (even in my eyes, and it's so annoying, because literally, i feel as if my 'display' is shaking). I guess one explanation would be that some blood vessels are closer to the surface of the skin, which is loaded with sensory receptors, and they pick up the throbbing of the heart. Also, some blood vessels are thinner than others. Some people believe that heighten sensory perception is a psychological symptom, so i am not sure if it is a symptom of any actual condition. I know that anxiety makes you feel your heart throbbing.
Perhaps you should ask your doctor about this, they might be able to give a better answer.

Good luck!

Check your pulse before a long RUN. Check immediately after. Check every so often to time how long it takes to recover to a resting rate. Seems that is how we judged our cardio fitness in school. Check a fitness site or runners site for the right parameters. Maybe a runner here can help you.
