I've been eating raw for 4 months and my blood sugar is back to normal. I eating a lots of tomato, bell pepper, grapes, and cucumber lately. Is it still good for the body?
I'd be out of luck if I had to stick to produce that was in season where I live in WA State... I too eat a lot of what you mention, plus other produce - all out of season. I've been eating this way for over 4 years. I simply do the best I can. Best wishes! *Ü*

unless you live somewhere warm enough for fruits and veg to crop all year round then you won't have seasonal food all year round. you can grow your own sprouted foods to a certain extent all year but other foods you will have to get from shops who have it shipped in.

I hope sprouting will save me some money. Thanks for the answer.

I find Lentils easy to sprout. The produce quite a bit of sprouts. They only take about 2 days. They are good with carrots in a salad.

Thanks for the answer.sprouting is great but I have to be sure to mix it up a bit or I get really sprout weary. Chick peas are one that I don't sprout any more. I found them fab to start with but ate too many. They are quite heavy and now I eat them only very occasionally. I find it easy to over-do lentils too. I like to stick with the "lighter" ones.

pretty much anything that isn't chick peas, lentils or any of the pulses. I don't make raw breads so can't help there.
