I got 2 green peppers 4 days ago, and the one that's left has 15-20 small white dots near the bottom of it. Is it still safe to eat it, or do the dots mean that it's moldy or rotten? I left it out in room temperature during that time, so maybe keeping them in the fridge would have been better?

It's been two full days since going 100% raw, and I haven't felt any major difference, which I guess is good. I'm consuming fewer calories (didn't use crono-meter before going raw, but I'm pretty sure), and only feel mild to moderately hungry at times since I eat something every 2-4 hours.

I would wash it good. If the peppers get soft I don't eat them. When they go limp they are usually turning.

Personally, I would not eat any vegetable that had anything even remotely resembling mold on it. Not worth the risk! I always refrigerate our peppers. In fact, I have been using the Fresh Extend ziplock bags, and I can't believe how well they work. They keep the veggies fresh way longer.

Is it soft? Peppers usually get soft and squishy a while before they grow mold. Four days seems kind of quick -- they usually keep for me a week or so, a bit longer if you refrigerate them.

Either way, just throw it out. Not worth the risk.
