feeding babies

My daughter is not raw, nor vegan, but first baby on the way. She's thinking the baby needs acidophilus for calcium. What suggestions can you offer to have "all" the babies needs met and going more vegan route? What about supplements--liquids, powders? I was thinking a green powder eventually. Not even sure if she is thinking breastfeeding, but she's going to do it her way regardless of my input, so I just let it be. Thanks.
