Kind of a gross thing, but is it normal to feel nauseaus after an enema while fasting? I felt pretty good this morning until after I did an enema, this was the first one I did and my first ever. I finished at 11:30 so 7 hours ago. Afterwards I drank 3 cups of distilled water quite quickly and started feeling very sick within 30 minutes. Ive felt a couple bubbles in my stomach a couple of times. I've been very tired all day since then. I plan to do another enema at 10 tonight I know I didn't get everything out that got knocked loose.

I didn't use the salt water solution in it, i replaced it with my own water and juice of a lemon, the water was about 95 degrees.

Yes..normal, especially downing all that water.

it's good to know that it's normal...-sigh- ugh makes me not want to do it again but i know it's worth it. This time I'll stay hydrated before hand and not down all that water afterward.

would it be ok to do a second one 10 hours after the first? Or would that cause too many toxins to be released or would it remove some of it?

When I did enemas while fasting, I would often feel nauseous. Sometimes I'd feel almost like passing out too. I hated doing them!

This is not scientific, nor researched, but just an opinion: I felt one-a-day was enough. I would also do one colonic a week while fasting. 99% of the time, I'd do an enema before bed due to just the feelings we've mentioned.

One time though, I just couldn't bring myself to do an enema one night, and the next day I was scheduled for a colonic and I did do one just a couple hours before the colonic, and some, but not a lot of stuff still came out.

While researching it, I came upon some kinky sexual-type sites that had people into enemas....Man, I just could never feel THAT way about enemas. LOL, but each to his own.

lol enemas kinky? I don't feel that way either. But I guess people have their things lol!!

I really wonder what causes the nausea, if it's toxins being released? If so I would hesitate to do two in one day. I think I will try to see if it drains the toxins, if I start feeling too sick I will drink some diluted carrot juice. That has helped me slow toxic release before when I was doing my first water fast. I will update !

So i did decide to do a second enema for the day. Two in a row, just like earlier. I didn't drink water directly afterward and that made a big difference. I haven't felt any major ill effects yet. I think I may have flushed out some of the loose stuff from earlier. I just had a gut feeling I needed to do it again and I'm glad I listened to it. From now on if I'm water fasting and doing an enema I'm just going to stick with one in the evening. I'm glad I didn't need to break down and drink carrot juice, I want to keep the 7 days pure! I have less than 48 hours to go and I am very happy about that!

Always listen to your body and yes, your body wanted another, so glad you went for it!
You are proably unloading a bunch of stuff and your body wants it out.

I normally don't feel nauseous but on my fifth day of water fast, i did feel nauseous and not well. On the seventh day, you know what happen.

Anyway, this is normal.
