My name is Brianna and I live in Brattleboro VT. I'm just starting to learn about the raw food diet and found this forum! I'm looking to connect with other people and would love to find or create a little group that meets to share information and create raw food meals together.

You are so lucky to have a meet-up group in your town! I'm sure there's one in Chicago, too but I haven't found any information on one. Anyway, I'm quite new to raw as well I've been shifting into eating all raw for 2 weeks now but I've fasted in between so I have not tried too many things yet. I've kept it simple; just eating organic fruits and veggies and raw nuts and seeds. I did find a raw food vendor in the French Market in Chicago and sampled some of their dishes I liked about half of them, the others were too salty for me but combining so many things in my stomach gave me a stomach ache later. I will be trying them again just not so many at once next time!
