Hi, I'm James. I am new to this community. I have been feeling sick for a couple years now. and I decided that going Raw was one on the best things to do for myself. I started eating 100% at the beginning of November. And I am going through what seems to be Detox. But I am really kind of scared about this. Basically one day I woke up and I was breaking out really badly. This has continued for about 9 days now. I have been drinking lots of water and getting lots of sleep. I have been eating salads in the mornings and at night. with peppers and cucumbers. and for snacks I will eat an apple and a banana. I guess I am just hoping to hear some more detox stories from all of you. And how they effected you and how long they lasted.
Thanks a lot. I look forward to getting to know you all.

The last time I went raw I detoxed pretty badly. I also broke out with very large pimples on my back and neck but it went away a week after then my skin looked great. Look at the before and after pics the skin on these high raw people just glow. I did a 24 hour juice fast Monday and that night I had serious night sweats. Never had them before. I just leads me to believe I have more detoxing to do. I just starting raw again last time after I finishded detoxing I felt so sooo good. Just stick with it.

The first time I went raw I broke out really bad. It's not so bad this time though, I'm guessing that's because I only slipped for a little while and my body eased back into raw pretty readily.

Hang in there! Each time I have gone raw I have had detox. Sometimes the symptoms have been severe, sometimes not so severe. The first time it scared me a little because I didn't know what was happening. Each time sense then I expect it to happen and I brace myself for it. In fact, I look forward to it because it means I am doing something right. Then after the detox is over I feel so much better having gotten those toxins out of my body. Also, depending on how long I am able to stick with it I go through detox symptoms again - and again I am excited when I go through it because I know I will feel better on the other side. Like I said - Hang in there and good luck!

I feel bad that I can't offer you a list of foods. Instinctively, I thought of staying away from fattier foods like avocados, nuts, and oils in the beginning but I may be way off base with that!

I could be wrong, but if it was me I'd be drinking lots green smoothies and taking MSM, which is great for skin and supposed to heal acne.
Good luck!
