When you look at yourself in the mirror

What do you say to yourself to help yourself heal and love yourself?

I just smile when I see myself in the mirror. Sometimes it's because I think that I'm beautiful after all, and other times it's because I look so disheveled that I amuse myself. Regardless, it's all me and I've grown to love who I see in the mirror.

A good exercise to say in front of the mirror:

"You are a loving and lovable person and you deserve to be loved."

Sometimes I actually manage to say it. Someday I will mean it. If I say it enough times, eventually it will be true.
