Sorry for the gross question folks but I need to know.
I have a substantial bowel movement in the mornings. That’s a good thing right?
Where is it all coming from? All I'm ingesting is fruit and veggie juice?
I this the impacted matter that was stuck to my intestines now breaking free?

what goes in must come out. It's fine unless it's painful. Did you definitely have impacted bowels? Add some movement/exercise during the day and you might have smaller more frequent BMs throughout the day.
Are you straining the juice and is juice all you are having because your sentence is slightly ambiguous. If you are having only juice and you are straining it and you've been having only strained juice for some time then it may well be that your body is clearing out some old stuff. This is good!

i had bowel movements all the way through my 209 day juice fast last year.
your body is cleaning... dead cells are in your stools, then there's any pulp that made it into your juices. it's amazing how much faces can come out of a body during an extended fast!

I'm sure my bowels weren't impacted. I read that there is impacted stuff on the walls of the bowels and a fast helps to break that free.
I'm not straining my drinks. I've done it and it takes for ever. Should I strain everything? Can you tell me how you do it? I'm drinking fruits and veggies. All kinds of both.

Do the old cells really start to be removed from the body after day 20? I am on day 20 and I read taht the old cells really start to leave between day 20 and 30. Is that true? When will I start to fell better?

Cells are constantly turning over. There is no such thing as fasting for twenty days all of a sudden turning on cell shedding. That makes no biological sense.

no that is nonsense. Fasting really suits some people and others less so. But the body works really well on the whole - just think you managed all these years when your diet wasn't so good. Give your body credit for the fabulous job it has been doing and give it a reward and a helping hand by juicing if you find it helps you.
I don't double-strain my juice so I drink whatever passes the screen but there is still a lot of pulp that gets removed. I don't sweat it!
