This morning made a "milkshake" for breakfast, still drinking it. First, I made almond milk last night & added a bit of vanilla powder & cinnamon. This morning I poured the almond milk into the blender, added a tsp of lucuma powder and tsp of mesquite powder, a banana, a couple ice cubes and blended. Its thick & creamy and filling. btw, I added a tiny pinch of sea salt & dash more of cinnamon too.....Now, I need some more milkshake recipes to make with almond milk....any good ideas?

This is one i make often and is my favorite chocolatey mylk drink. First I make the raw almond milk and strain it, then add a frozen banana, cacao powder, raw honey, a little maca powder, 1 or 2 stalks kale (depending on preference) and after thats blended add cacao nibs and blend again, for a little crunch. I love it, and it goes well over ice. If you want it thicker use less mylk or more bananas, its easy to tweak. Sometimes i put a little vanilla or mint in as well. Coconut oil too if you want some extra fat or flavor. Yum!

never having liked milk in pre-raw life (I drank it up to the age of about 4 voluntarily - any after that was forced!), I don't miss it but I might have to try some of these nut milk based drinks; they sound really good.

Sounds delish....but I think the raw cacao would be too much for me,:wow:
although I do love it.

You have found the perfect milkshake! For variety, try adding kale or frozen peaches (preferably not both in the same milkshake). One of my favorite combinations is almond milk, frozen banana, date, vanilla, and 2 leaves of dino kale.
